 Scott & Cheri Scheer Through more than thirty years of experience as pastors, teachers and parents, Scott and Cheri Scheer have been known as a reliable source of godly counsel on marriage and the family. Scott has served as a pastor since 1971. With a vision for ministry from Malachi 4:6, "I will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children," he and Cheri began holding marriage and family seminars and speaking at conferences on a full-time basis in 1999. They have been conducting marriage and family conferences for over twenty years. With over thirty years experience as pastors, educators, authors and conference speakers Scott and Cheri have touched the lives of thousands of couples and families. They have written many books on marriage and family issues, including Marriage Building Blocks, I Do for Men, Raising Kids Right, Building A Strong Family Tree, and When A Child Goes to Heaven. Scott and Cheri are professors with Beacon University (Columbus, Georgia), teaching in the counseling division. Their unique style of team-teaching, humor and personal transparency affords an enjoyable life-changing experience for all who attend their conferences. Scott and Cheri have been married for thirty-three years and have three adult children and eight grandchildren. Their home is located in northern Michigan.
